Ms Diana, please don't count a person by his looks.  Chandra babu naidu, Balasaheb Thakrey, Ramakrishna hegde, Chandrashekar Narendra Modi were never seen with full shaved,pl count them through their ability.

Many hearty congragulations for both newly elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Now don't be confused that you are a BJP Mayor ,you are very respected Mayor of Mangalore City Corporation. What Mangalore citizens are looking for is "Sadak,Bijli and Paani"and pls.don't be taken a back to go for Concrete roads, whenever and wherever necessary.Your look, attaire or personality doesn't make any difference ,only your achievments will be remembered and that it will bring changes to Managlore which is presently in news for all wrong reasons.

"No one can go back and change a bad beginning. But anyone can start now and create a successful ending, and "changing the face" can change nothing but "Facing the Change" can change everything.Mayor Saab-we have very great expectations from You.All the best.

In Europe and West the word Mayor commands lot of respect. In Mangalore it may not command the same respect. Certainly a person does justice to his post will be appreciated. He needs to be impartial on every aspect and his duty is to have a yardstick applicable to all. In the recent past, people who held this post have been supporting bad elements in the name of culture and religion. Hope this man does his duty impartial of any pressure. Make people pay their tax happily so that it is utilised in optimum manner. Try for good parking, proper gabage collection, foot paths to pedestrians, non corrupt traffic police, the list is endless. When the Mayor is duty bound, people get used to law and system and list becomes shorter and shorter. Then politicians who take easy advantage will be caught and discarded. Who do not enjoy clean and unbiased admn? I bet everyone will celebrate it. Moral police will be out of job as the first step, as people look the way part of tax money goes to police salary for protection. Additional money to goondas is burden on any business and admin.
