Mr Shreedhar Bangalore, violence by any group of any ethnic/religious affiliation is totally deplorable and must be fought. I certainly dont support, KFD/ISO/BD/SRS or any organisations that believe in violence. I always stand for justice and equality with non violence/truth as weapon. Instead of critising or supporting any organisations lets all of us stand united in preaching/practicing love, peace and non violence. Any organisation or individual who resort to violence must be stopped and tried in the Indian Legal system. Mr Shreedhar, I trust now you have been convinced.

Irrespective of caste and creed we all Mangaloreans should unite together and tackle the evil forces like moral policing. Who are they? Whom they belong? Who feed them? Which law protects them? Why we majority community of Mangaloreans are silent about this kind of incidents? Mangalores name is going to be spoiled international level. Lot many industries are coming up in Mangalore and our future generation is created with employment opportunities. If this trend continues here, no industry will step in to Mangalore. Lot of out station students are coming to Mangalore for their better education. And this migration will defenitely stop for ever.

As a result Mangalore will be noted as a dens paradise instead of a peaceful land which catered accomodation and hospitality irrespective of caste and creed. Let us unite together and let us save the dignity, morality and decency of Mangalore. If this is not done our Mangalore  to sit at home without freedom of speech, freedom of education etc., irrespective of caste and creed please remember.

Mr.Shahnawaz kukkikatte, dubai/udupi, you are speaking about self proclaimed organisations. What about KFD's members who beat bus driver and conductor so badly at Uchila (NH 17) last year? Why the so called Human Rights Activists and other political parties favouring minorities shut their mouth that time? Do anybody have answer for this?

It's all about being insecure, incompetent and lack of ideas to progress with one's own dreams for a better tomorrow that we see comments on religious lines. I bet the ones touting culture, religion and what have you are least aware of what they are talking. Getting some misguided ideas of GOD and religion does not warrant anyone to infringine the rights of others. Take a chill pill people.

      G. Rao - It is unfortunate that you are seeing the world in this light. The pub issue is about the fundamental rights being violated and nothing to do with hindu, muslim or christian. Remember, Rama Sene does not represent hindus, it is a wackho group with troubled youths. Now we have a few names to attach to those faces. If they do not get out of the district we need to ensure that they do.

Mr Shreedhar, any act of violence and crime by any member of any community is condemnable and punishable. Justice should prevail. Here question of Hindus, muslims or christians dont arise. Whoever has committed a crime must be punished under our legal system. But it is wrong by any self proclaimed organisations to punish the so called culprits. We have a legal system which protects the rights of all of our fellow citizens. Who are these men to enforce their views on others that too by force beating the women. Do u appreciate the women beating in a civilized society like ours?

This message is for G.A.Roa. Please don't relate religions to pub attack. Pub going is not only for one cast or religion. It is for public. More often you mayl see Ram Sene members in pub area and prostitution than anybody else. We really don't need moral police in India. Indian public is better than even govt servants.

Mr. G. Rao, sir, please note that you have bought to this world by almighty (Ram, Alla or Jesus) it is your or our destiny and no one can change it. Please do not religious the issue. The issue is straight forward, who has authorised Rama Sena to carryout so called attach. If they are good cultured group, they have lodged official complaint with the concerned authorities to see that offender will be brought under the law. So do not make such comments and bring religious issue. Grow up boy.

Dear G.RAO, MANGALORE/MCT, I was saddened by your comments. The thing is, not about supporting or not supporting the Pub culture. It is about the violent way, which the Sri Rama Sena used, to convey their opposition to the Pub culture. Also this Pub was operating in a public place which meant it was authorised by the concerned authorities to function. Bringing religion into this commercial and personal choice of entertainment may not be a good idea

Where are the so called Human Rights Activists? Why they are silent? Why this issue is not covered in many of the media?

The punishment should be in commensurate with the crime and also should have an element of deterrent. Unfortunately both are absent in the current case. It is like sending them out for a           three-month picnic. This will be good chance for them to go to training camps and get more training in disruptive activities. The right place for these people is behind bars under an unbiased police in charge.

I always feel proud to be an Indian. However I feel disgusted when we are ruled by a Few Corrupted Politicians and Business People who take country as their Personal Property. Cowardness we see in different field of life and that is the recent Incident (I would consider the above person a coward). I feel the living Conditions and the quality of life i.e., Medical, Education, Legal and many other Benefits in Mangalore is far better than other cities. For E.g. just around an area of Two Kms North/South/East/West of Lalbagh there are so many schools, colleges, Hospitals, Markets and so on. These facilities we will never see in any other cities in India. I would consider the Recent Church and Pub Attack by two different Groups is only to Attract some Media Mileage which they succeeded. But their Success of Hindu Culture will never succeed because many of the Hindus still prefer to Living in Western Style. In India we forget the Past easily and always looks forward for a better future. Many of the Liquor and PUb Joints in Mangalore are all owned by the Hindus. It is time that we continue with our daily routine of Mixing Work with Pleasure. Go Ahead with your friends, families (Girl/Boy/Man or Woman) and enjoy your days not only at home but also in the LIquor and Pub Joints. Nobody can stop you.

The goonda boy who raised his fist to hit the man doesn't seem to be following Ram Culture. See his hair Style. it is borrowed from Leonardo De-caprio ( Titanic Hero) and purely western style. He should have a "Juttu" if he is serious about Hindu Culture.

Just look at that skinny boy raising his hand on a well-built man for questioning the reason of attack. That shows the political backing and authoritative high-headedness of these goons. For them three months like spending a holiday financed by their sponsors. Instead they should have been asked to report police station on daily basis for one year at least. I wholeheartedly respect the man who questioned them. KEEP IT UP YOUNG MAN.
