Mangalore, Feb 28: A membership campaign and selection of office-bearers of Muttappa Rai-promoted Jaya Karnataka organization was held here at Kadri Gorakshanatha Hall on Saturday, February, 28.

"Jaya Karnataka will fight for the welfare of Kannada and it will follow its own style of struggle for the conservation of Kannada language and culture. It will fight against the injustices being inflicted on Kannada and will also take up other issues relating to the language," said Ramesh Gowda, state president of Jaya Karnataka.

He said Jayakarnataka Sene was  formed by Muttappa Rai to fight for Kannada and also to fight for the early settlement of  several long-pending issues relating to Kannada that have not yet been sorted out and to do away with the problems faced by Kannadigas in securing jobs. The organization will also work for the early settlement of boundary disputes with other states, he explained.

Jayakarnataka will be in the forefront in all issues pertaining to the welfare of Kannada and Kannadigas, he declared.

Selection of office-bearers was also held at the programme.

Anyone is ready to join to convince people with thier patriotism on das (only) and good in only speaches but not on action - then you have a good chance to show yiour talent and earn money. Qualification required is good back up, should know how to lure people with your own patriotic show, and second best qualification you should have is to have two faces, and elephant teeth, only to show, and miss world smile on dais, Duryodhana's actions, and more that you should be ready to eat like Bakasura when sanctions and orders come your way
