Karkala: ETTIN – 2009 – Management Fest of JKSGIM Inaugurated

Karkala, Mar 6: ETTIN is a national-level management fest conducted every year by Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management. ETTIN implies Educational Transformation Through Inter – Institute Nexus. The first ETTIN was conducted in 1999. It has been a part of JKSHIM’s tradition since then. ETTIN-2009 is being conducted on March 6 and 7. The programme is conceptualized, organized and managed by the students of this institute. This is a programme that conglomerates various management students from around the nation on a single forum.

Over the years ETTIN has been able to generate good response from the reputed business schools from all over the country. Last year ETTIN was able to attract more than 20 Business Schools from around the nation. This year ETTIN 2009 comes out with more competitive and challenging events like HR Game (Camouflage), Finance Game (Ambroid), Marketing Game (BlitzKrieg), Boomerang (Business Quiz), The Poseidon (Strategic Game), and Midas touch (Banking Game).

The Ettin-09 fest was inaugurated by V K Thalithaya, president of Primacy Industries. Dr M S Moodithaya, director of Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management presided over the inaugural function. Dr NK Thingalaya was guest of honor

Prof Sudhir M, faculty coordinator of ETTIN-09 welcomed the gathering while Ashwath N Kamath,  student coordinator of ETTIN-09 proposed vote of thanks.
