Mangalore, Mar 7:
“By declaring that Sri Rama Sene does not have anything to do with the Sangh Parivar, Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math has made an effort to divide the Hindus. He should clarify on his stand and also the said statement, and tender an apology for the same,” said Kumar Malemar, district convener of Sri Rama Sene. He was speaking at a press conference held here on Saturday March 7.

“The Pejawar Swamiji, while addressing a press meet on  the proposed Hindu  Samajotsava, said that the programme has been planned for uniting the Hindus and called upon all the  Hindu organizations and outfits  to come together to make  it a grand success. But his comments about Sri Rama Sene that it does not have any connection or relation with the Sangh Parivar outfits are wrong. The Sene also works on the Hindutva agenda, just like the Sangh Parivar organizations," said Malemar.

The words of the Swamiji have hurt the feelings of the Sene members and the supporters of Hindutva. As such, he should clarify on the above comment and come out with an apology. If not, it proves that his idea is to divide the Hindus in the name of organizing Samajostsava, he said. He also felt, that all the Hindu organizations have the right to work for the protection and welfare of the Hindus.

Every Hindu has equal responsibility in uniting Hindus. The Swamiji had advised in the last Samajotsava to correct those who blindly follow the western culture. Based on his words, the pub attack was planned, he explained.

Office-bearers of the Sene were present.
