Bangalore: Kenyan Lady Held with Heroin

Bangalore, Mar 9: Susan Njoki, (31), a Kenyan national, was caught with 1.5 kg of heroin while trying to fly to Shanghai in Thai Airways (TG 326) from Bangalore International Airport. 

The seized drug is worth Rs 5 crore in the international market.



Police found the residue of the heroin while her registered baggage was undergoing checking.

Preliminary probe has revealed she had received the consignment in Delhi and was supposed to hand it over to someone in Shanghai.

Police suspect her to be a carrier in the international drug racket and are investigating her local links.

    Hi Jude I have not generalised the Africans. I only said Africans in India, we have enough people to spoil peace of India and joining of foreigners it makes it worse. If they come here to study and develop its O.K. We do not want drug peddling and cheating isuues. I do not have any vengence towards Africans.

    Mr Charles D'Mello, It is not right to generalize here. Yes there are a lot of financial scams and poverty, which is driving many people from Africa to act as drug couriers. I have lived in Africa and also interact with a lot of black Africans regularly for business. They are wonderful and decent people. In veery society and country we have good apples and rotten apples and the same applies to Africa as well.

    TIA this is AFrica. Poverty,unemployment, corruption,drought, famine pushes my fellow kenyans to do anything narco smuggling, prostitution, human smuggling to do anything and everything to survive. She is not the first and will not be the last
