Theni (Tamil Nadu), Apr 13 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday mocked the Congress's proposed NYAY scheme which translates to "justice" in Hindi literally and claimed that the grand old party has finally agreed that injustice was done by them over the past 60 years.

"Congress and dishonesty are best friends. But sometimes by mistake they end up speaking the truth. Now they are saying Nyay will happen. Even if they did not intend to, they have admitted that they had done injustice for the 60 years," Modi said at a massive rally here.

NYAY is the Congress' minimum income guarantee scheme that the party says lift millions out of poverty.

    Someone has rightly called him 'Maut Ka Saudagar' because he knows only how to do politics with dead bodies.
    He had used the 59 dead bodies of Godhra Train Burning in 2002 to kill more and win the election. He has repeated the same act now with 40 CRPF soldiers!

    Now he is playing politics over 'Bhopal gas' tragedy in which estimates of the death toll vary from as few as 3,800 to as many as 16,000, but government figures now refer to an estimate of 15,000 killed over the years. A government affidavit in 2006 stated that the leak caused 558,125 injuries, including 38,478 temporary partial injuries and approximately 3,900 severely and permanently disabling injuries. Others estimate that 8,000 died within two weeks, and another 8,000 or more have since died from gas-related diseases.
    Sushma Swaraj's colleague in the cabinet Arun Jaitley has for long been on the same side as Anderson. During the UPA rule, the BJP was nagging the government to secure Anderson's extradition to India to stand trial. But, a member of the Vajpayee government Jaitley's defense of Anderson sounded more like that of his lawyer than that of India's Law Minister. Jaitley also counseled Dow Chemical in his individual capacity as senior advocate in 2006. He then held that Dow could not be held liable for the gas leak tragedy under civil or criminal proceedings.

    1. We know for sure that during his previous visit Modi met the current CEO of Dow Chemicals, Andrew Liveris. Why Modiji has not raised 'Nyay' or compensation to Bhopal victim?
    2. Why was BJP screaming for Anderson's extraction if it did not want to pursue the case as a ruling party?
    3. On the eve of Modi's maiden visit to Bhopal as Prime Minister on September 10 for the much-hyped opening of the World Hindi Conference, he could not spare 15 minutes to discuss issues of compensation, criminal justice and the clean-up of toxic waste?
    4. How Modiji is eligible for the UN highest environmental award while his own minister is complicit?

    Hello PM your Government got mejority first time a non congress govenment and why dint you do Nyay to Bhopal ( Bjp state govt there since many years) victims , Sikhs and Dalit ?

    Modi is fit to be a opposition leader and totally unfit to be the Prime Minister. Goes around the country only ridiculing opposition parties. The country needs to know what has he done during the last five years after getting such a Majority is Parliment. The Truth is he has squandered away this mandate by wasting time on elections and foreign visits.

    Modi Ji stop this Congress bashing and give us responses to these issues.

The Modi government is guilty of monumental mismanagement of the Indian economy.

    No accountability at all for corruption during the last five years. Corruption has become rampant across the country. After the next Govt is formed all the skeletons in the BJP vast array of hidden cupboards will be exposed including the Rafale Scam.

    Modi Sarkar Ko Hatao. Desh Ko Bachao. They should be made accountable for over 100 deaths in ATM Ques after the Demoitisation.

    Ok agreed, INC didn't avail justiceto them but where did Modi & Vajapayeeji Govt gave? Modi remembering these issues only for election speeches!
    Vajapayeeji was reasonable, he didn't promise what he can't deliver, neither anytime gave hate speeches!
