Sushil Modi to file defamation case against Rahul

Patna, Apr 16 (IANS): Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday said that he will file a defamation case against Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his reported statement that "all thieves have Modi in their surnames".

"I have decided to file a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi for calling all people with the Modi surname as thieves. I will file it soon in a Patna court," the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader told the media.

"It is not only objectionable, but it defames and hurts the sentiments of everyone who has the Modi surname."

He also objected to Gandhi's 'chowkidar chor hai' jibe.

Sushil Modi is one of the star campaigners of the BJP and NDA in Bihar and has been addressing election meetings in different parliamentary constituencies daily.

As per the NDA's seat-sharing formula, the BJP and the Janata Dal-United are contesting on 17 seats each in Bihar, leaving six seats for the Lok Jantantrik Party.

    The cleanest and purest surnames these days are the Gandhis and the Vadras,
    It was not so even in Mahatma Gandhiji's time.
    Even the Mahatma is remembered by his surname only today.
    The present scion has imbibed such values and is so honest that he wears fata kurthas, stood in queues to get two 2 Thousand rupees on consecutive days.

    Sushil Modi can you take a oath in a Dharmastala Temple in the Vedas.
    In the Bible in Jerusalem Temple in Israel?
    In a Quran in Delhi Mosque?
    confirming you have not robbed government money or taken corruption from people, if so go ahead with defamation case against Rahul Gandhiji.
