Mangaluru, May 7: People in the city reeling under heat wave-conditions for the past few days heaved a sigh of relief on Tuesday evening, May 7 after a sudden downpour.
The rains brought the temperature down, making the weather pleasant. The rain caught people unawares and many on the streets were seen rushing for shelter.
It was cloudy for most of the time since morning with light drizzle bring experienced in some parts of the city.
Bondel, Padavinangadi, Maryhill, Yeyyadi and other parts of the city received a good amount of rain for some time.
