Mangalore: Ln Alwyn Patrao of Kirem Elected Lions Dist Governor

Mangalore, Apr 14: MJF Ln Alwyn Patric Patrao has been elected with 100% endorsement as the district governor of Lions Clubs International District 324 D5 for the Lionistic year 2009-10. The district comprises of 64 Lions Clubs belonging to the revenue districts of Dakshina Kannada, Hassan, Chickmagalur and Kodagu.
 
MJF Ln Alwyn Patrao is a member of Lions Club Kinnigoli. He is the first Roman Catholic to have been elected as the district governor in the history of Lions District 324 D5.

MJF Ln Alwyn Patrao originally hailing from Kirem, Aikala is the son of Benedict and Benedicta Patrao. His six brothers are a source of strength for him.
 
As a youth leader, he served as the president of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of Kirem parish for two terms. He has also served as the president of ICYM of Mangalore diocese.
 
Ln Alwyn is a committed Lion who is composed, honest and reliable. Besides being very principled and firm in his decisions, he is a meticulous planner, an innovative thinker and an effective organizer. He is an impressive speaker too.
