Moodbidri, May 19: Police have identified one of the accused in the murder case of Naveen, who was bludgeoned to death with a wooden stick on the night of late night of Friday May 17.
The accused has been identified as Pongu Ramesh.
Naveen (29) was murdered at the Daddi Cross of Doomachadavu in Mijar near here by Ramesh (35) and Nityananda (40) over an argument about not receiving their phone calls. Ramesh died on the spot because of the repeated blows that were hit on his head by the accused.

Pongu Ramesh along with another accused is still absconding and police are on the look out for them.
Naveen was working in hotel management sector in Dubai and had come back to his hometown three months ago. It is said that this murder happened on account of some monetary dispute.
