Davangere, May 19: In a bizarre incident, a youth posted his own photos on WhatsApp saying that he has been murdered and is now under the custody of police for the chaos created due to his eccentric act.

Parashuram, a resident of Yellamma Nagar is the arrested youth. He had put his own photos on WhatsApp saying that he has been murdered. Police were clueless due to the madness of this guy and finally the police of the district put an end to his drama.

On the night of Saturday, May 18, Parashuram had uploaded his photo with vermilion (sindoor) on his face, which is generally put on dead bodies of men. His family members who panicked when they saw his photo on WhatsApp registered a complaint in the Davangere extension police station. Rumours were making rounds in the town that it was the fourth murder in the week.

Police were frantically searching for the body of Parashuram throughout the district. Fortunately, they located him during the search and he has confessed to his gimmick. Police have promptly registered a case of public nuisance on him and taken him into custody.
