Mangalore: Advocate Naushad's Murder: Policemen Interrogate Two

Mangalore, Apr 20: In connection with the murder of advocate Naushad in the city recently, the policemen have taken into custody two persons, whom they are interrogating about their possible links with the murder.
Udupi unit president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Narayan Gowda faction) Satish Kalmadi was taken into custody by the policemen from Ucchila near Padubidri. The special investigating team of the police formed for this case, is questioning the arrested person.
In the meantime, it is said, a notorious criminal from Mumbai, claimed to be a native of Tottam near Udupi, is being interrogated by the policemen of the special investigating team.
Naushad
Police sources however said, they have questioned eight persons relating to the advocate's murder but no one has been arrested so far.
It may be recalled, that Naushad Kashimji, advocate handling the cases of Chota Shakeel associate Rashid Malbari and several others including some against the policemen, had been brutally killed on the night of Thursday April 9 near his residence by unknown assailants.
