Deacon Vivin dies in tragic bike accident in Chikkamagluru district

Chikkamagaluru, May 29: A deacon, who was on the threshold of priesthood, passed away in a tragic accident at N R Pura on Tuesday, May 28.

The deceased is identified as Deacon Vivin Kannumbilly. He was due for ordination in December later this year.

The tragic incident took place when he was on vacation in his home town parish of St Sebastian's Church, Makod N R Pura in Chikkamaguluru district.

He had been to drop his uncle to a bus stand and was on his way back home when the mishap took place.

The funeral was held on Wednesday, May 29.
