Local body polls: BJP gets majority in Moodbidri, Sullia - Hung verdict in Mulky

Mangaluru, May 31: In the local bodies election held recently, results have been announced. BJP, continuing with its recent successes, has secured majority in three bodies while Mulky town has not given clear majority to any of the parties.

In Moodbidri municipality, BJP, with 12 seats, got clear majority as compared to 11 bagged by the Congress. Four rebels, two each from the Congress and BJP, who fought the election, suffered ignominious defeat.

In Sullia town panchayat, BJP got 14 seats while Congress came a distant second with four seats. Others got two seats here.

In Mulky town panchayat, BJP got eight seats to Congress's nine. JD(S) could bag a seat in this local body.

    1)In Moodbidri municipality, BJP, with 12 seats, got clear majority as compared to 11 bagged by the Congress( Sc lady reservation ..congress may b the claimer)
    2)In Mulky town panchayath, BJP got eight seats to Congress's nine. JD(S) could bag a seat in this local body.( congress going to rule)
    only Sulliya going to BJP rule..
    Now commentators pls clarify.......what happened

    If something is trending in the market we go with it,Especially if u see fashion industry,its a human mind designed that way.Right now BJP trending,so its going with the flow.Nothing to be surprised,some years later some other party will trend.every dog has its day.

    INC ruled India when it was just left messy by British,from the grassroot they made India steady,and then BJP got the post,but now economy is sinling,water shortage,BJP has to look into these major issues.

    Surprise is BJP getting similar seats to congress in Mulky Naraga Panchayat .... it has always been congress stronghold place having majority Billavas supporting it ....
