There is no woman and no man ! all are equal when the responsibilities comes to the shoulder irrespective of any gender ! she or he cant escape from the gender inequalities ! you perform for the best of the nation !

She should reduce her arrogance and attitude a little bit ! as she is only a elected representative for limited period !

As a defense minister she was busy defending the corrupt and now as finance minister also she is going to do the same thing. I don't think Indian economy will survive under these clowns. They have destroyed Indian economy and we need P.V.Narsaimha Rao - Manmohan Singh type PM and FM to tackle finance ministry. Lawyer Arun Jaitley was a disaster as a finance minister and now this lady is going to be another worst disaster.

Personally, I would not compare Indira Gandhi with any other women leader. We should know the context too. Apart from it Indira Gandhi had the Congress party support and later she dominated the party and seized the leadership. I do not think Nirmala Sitaraman is anywhere near Indira.

Also Indira Gandhi retained the defence and finance ministries with her during her initial years as PM until she could find her own trusted lieutenants. She was not allotted these portfolios since she herself was the boss. One can aptly say IG was the first woman PM rather than first defence or finance minister.

According to news, she was also a candidate for PhD at London School of Economics, but due to her husband getting enrolled in the PhD program at the same school, she opted out. Otherwise, she would have received PhD as well. In fact, she is better suited than Arun Jaitely who by profession was a lawyer.
