Mangaluru: Anagha bags gold in speed skating open challenge in Gurugram

Mangaluru, Jun 1: Anagha from the city has bagged the gold medal in the 'Speed Skating Open Challenge - 2019', which was organized by Ice Skating Association of India at Gurugram, Delhi.

Anagha got the gold medal in the 500 meter Ice Rink Race category for the age group of eight to ten years.

Anagha is the daughter of Dr Rajesh Hukkeri and Dr Anita Rajesh couple. She is studying in fourth standard of Lourdes CBSE School at Bejai in the city.

 

Anagha is being trained by Avadhooth Thavade, national trainer in Ice Skating. In addition, she is being trained by Mohandas K and Jayaraj, the trainers at High Flyers Skating Club from city of which Anagha is a member.
