Panaji, Apr 28:
In a bizarre case, Goa police have arrested a father for sexually abusing his three year old daughter for over three months at the outskirts of Panaji city.

Accused, 35-year-old migrant, originally hailing from Karnataka, was arrested under Goa Children’s Act after his wife lodged a complaint with Panaji police.

“We registered the complaint but later forwarded it to Old Goa police station due to jurisdiction issues,” police inspector Nolasco Raposo attached to Panaji police station said.

According to the complaint, the accused used to sexually abuse his daughter. The mother who was initially aware of the sin gathered courage to lodge a complaint with the police after a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) helped her.

Police officials stated that the accused was forcing the minor to inhale ink eraser and himself used to inhale it before committing the crime.

The mother has also stated that the accused was also making his two year old son inhale the ink eraser.

“We have registered offence under section 8 of Goa Children’s Act,” Old Goa police station official stated.
