Mangalore: Kuwait Kerala Muslims Donate Two Dialysis Machines to Fr. Muller

Mangalore, May 1: `When we donate something we will get more in return “ said philanthropist, NRI businessman Padmashree Dr B R Shetty.
He was speaking as chief guest at the inaugural function of the donation of two dialysis machines provided by Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association(KKMA) in association with the Jameeyathul Falah at Father Muller’s hospital.
Dr B R Shetty said, there is no barrier of caste, creed and religion to donating. When we donate to some one it will come back to us through other ways. He also said that we should love the work we do. It is the truth of success.
Two dialysis machines were donated to Fr Muller’s hospital. Abdul Muneer, president of KKMA, said, the association is trying its level best to help people in need. After having found so many cases of people suffering from renal problems it was decided to donate the dialysis machines. Mentioning the aid given in various hospitals in Kerala, he said, it is to help the poor who suffer from the kidney problems and cannot afford the treatment.
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director, Fr Muller’s charitable institutions, said, the machines will go a long way in helping the poor people. He also thanked the KKMA for donating the machines.
Fr Stany Tauro, Administrator, Fr. Muller hospital received the Memorandum of Understanding signed by KKMA office bearers and other members.
Prof. Abdul Rahiman, former Vice Chancellor of Calicut and Cannanore University, Dr. Najeeb Abdul Vahab, Althaf Husain Kalib, Salah Otheman, B M Iqbal from Kuwait were the guests. Zameer Umber, president of Jamiyathul Falah, Mangalore corporate unit was also present.
Earlier , Dr Prashanth Kumar from the department of nephrology welcomed the gathering.
