Former minister Cheluvarayaswami in his address, hailed Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade for guiding the poor to live in a way that is within their reach. He also appreciated Heggade for shouldering the social responsibilities in way that is unique, which no other has done so far.
Dr Heggade who presided, noted that the people used to choose to get married in Dharmasthala in the past due to penury, but now the main aim of many, is to become man and wife in a simple ceremony.
