Dubai: Pradeep Barboza's Side-splitting Comedy Makes 'Never Ending' Impression

Dubai, May 8: Pradeep Barboza, young playwright, actor and director who has written and directed several Konkani plays at the young age took the sizable crowd at Al Nasr Leisureland Nashwan Hall to a different world with his outstanding comedy play 'Sangon Mugdana', which in turn made the spectators to forget the work pressure and stress of busy day-to-day life.

His play 'Sangon Mugdana' was worth the money, as SMKC Dubai presented this play to support and encourage young talents.

Lawrence D'Souza, Al Raien Metallic Const. Ind LLC and Boniface Carlo, Main Coordinator of SMKC, inaugurated the programme by watering the plant. Boniface Carlo Spoke on this occasion and congratulated young talents, and thanked everyone who made this play possible in Dubai.


















 
The story of the play has been based on a simple issue but narrated in a very meaningful way to convey the message that rich remain rich while the poverty never abandons the poor. People always boast of their own abilities and they want to be in the limelight always. Every young heart which is in love claims to be Jodi No 1, and no one is above them. This is the story which Pradeep Barboza says "Never Ends" (Sangon Mugdana).

Audience has praise for everything in this play right from the direction to the characterization. Pradeep Barboza was honoured by SMKC for his contribution to the Konkani theatre. Cyril Baptist directed music for the show

    Dear Cyril, It looks like you have totally mistaken the issue. As you may be aware the recent program was organized and conducted by SMKC Dubai. Pradeep is very much a member of the UN and MVCA Group but to thank MVCA for the program organized by another group, it doesnt'' make any sense! If MVCA was involved in this program in any way then you could have asked this sort of questions but here UN or MVCA was not at all involved. Though everyone knows Pradeep has participated in all of the UN programs and is also well praised. So where is the problem now? The Drama is already over and everyone has enjoyed it and now why create unnecessary issues?

    Good Drama writen, directred and Acted by Pradeep Barboza. If i am not mistaking, Pradeep Barboza is forget about his own group called Udenthichin Neketram, Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association, They given him chance to come up and show his talent on their annual programs.

    First of all I would like to thank SMKC Dubai for taking the initiative in organising the ‘Sangon Mugdana’ drama written and directed by me. A special thanks to Fr. Freddy, Spiritual Director of SMKC, Mr. Boniface Carlo, Mr. Ullhas Fernandes and all the SMKC members for their excellent support in making this drama successful.

    I would also like to extend my special thanks to Daijiworld Team especially Mr. Walter Nandalike who has supported me right from the beginning and also a big thanks to Ramcy for his excellent support and media coverage.

    A big thanks to all the sponsors for their support in making this event successful. My special thanks to Mr. Melwyn Cardoza who has helped us in a special way in coordinating the entire event. Music by Mr. Cyril Baptist was excellent and a big thanks to him as well. The title song written by my Uncle Mr. Avith Barboza was suberb and was very much appreciated by everyone.

    What a superhit drama it is!!! Non stop drama!! Nevertheless it is great konkani drama. A simple story by Pradeep barboza with best actors, stage setting and very effective sound system. Actors done marvelous presentation of their talents. Hats off to all drama actors who put their 2 -3 months valuable time in practice and provided us the excellant entertainment.
