Hassan: ‘New Centre Govt will be Fragile, BJP to Lose Power in State before Year End’

Hassan, May 11: Shivananda Shivayogi Rajendra Swamiji from Kody Mutt near here, who is famous for his accurate predictions, has said that the new formation that will come to power at the centre will be fragile in nature. "If women to whom the post will be offered forgo the opportunity, a man might become the next Prime Minister. Congress Party will have a major say in the alliance at the centre. BJP prime ministerial candidate L K Advani does not have any chance of getting his aspiration fulfilled. Maximum period for which the central government will survive, is two years," he predicted.
It may be noted that Kodyhalli Swamiji draws lot of respect from both the politicians and people in general, because of his forthright, accurate predictions. In the past, he had predicted that the BJP would rise to power and that some politicians from the northern tip of the state will wield enormous power in the state administration, which came true through Reddy brothers apart from Sriramulu. It may be recalled that JD (S) supremo Deve Gowda too gives lot of weightage to what the said Swamiji says. Some of the predictions he gave are as follows.
No political party will get enough seats to muster a simple majority and chances of formation of a single party government there are bleak. Even though the BJP would be able to get lot of seats, it will still be elusive of the magic number required to form the government. The third and fourth fronts will be strengthened and might lay claim to government formation. The Congress will then respect the political polarization of secular-minded parties and extend support for such an alliance, he explained.
A party that split and got separated from the UPA government at the centre will evince interest in government formation. There will be intense competition for the post of the Prime Minister. Chances of a woman being offered with this coveted post are bright. Even though a government is formed, it will not be stable and people will not have peace of mind. Egotistic individuals might cause the downfall of the government. It is very clear the government at the centre will tumble within two years, the Swamiji added.
For any formation to survive it will require the support of the Congress Party and the role of that party will be decisive. The parties which get neglected will gain in importance in later stages, he said.
BJP and alliance parties will gain maximum seats, but they will fall short of majority. The party had the chance of running the union government for three months, but as that time has expired, its future is not bright, he said.
The Swamiji also said the state government headed by the BJP might face some serious problems by the month end and crumble and at any cost, it is set to collapse by December this year. The time at which the chief minister was sworn in was defective. He could have resigned within 15 days and got back again at an auspicious time within 15 days, in which case he would have enjoyed power for 11 more years, but now all this have gone and there are no chances of reversing his fortunes, the Swamiji opined.
There are chances of an alliance between the JD (S) and Congress forming a government at the state level, efforts for which are already on. If the two join together and strike a proper note, they might come to power in the state, he predicted.
