Kuwait, Jun 28: Charity sees the need, not the cause. No one has ever become poor by giving. With purity and kindness of heart, a timely help given to a needy with no expectation in return is termed as good help.
Under the motto of 'Unity in diversity', Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) has actively committed itself to welfare of the deprived and needy people of Tulunadu. It has been pursuing its goal of helping the less privileged in society since its inception under various projects. TKK has engaged and dedicated its time and efforts in reaching out to those who are underprivileged and needy in society.
This year Tulu Koota initiated a new project named Ahraya Yojane, under which TKK will construct houses for the needy. As promised and announced during TKK, Rasamanjari 2019, it has already completed and handed over two houses to the poor and needy families before the monsoon season.
On May 9, Tulu Koota Kuwait President, Ramesh S Bhandary inaugurated and handed over a renovated house to Kalyani from Edapadav, Bajpe. Tulu Koota Kuwait donated around 1.5 lac to this house renovation project. Kalyani, beneficiary of this project wholeheartedly thanked Tulu Koota Kuwait and its members for bearing the expenses of their complete house renovation and giving her new hope for living a decent life.
On the other hand on May 10, Tulu Koota Kuwait inaugurated and handed over a newly built house to Ratna Purusha and family of Bolanthe, Kadandale, Mangaluru. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Tulu Koota president Ramesh S Bhandary and TKK advisor Aikala Sudhakar Shetty.
Roshan Belman, founder Humanity Trust through who Tulu Koota Kuwait came to know the situation of this poor family and pledged charity helped in constructing the new house. Tulu Koota Kuwait donated the full amount for the construction of this house which was a total of five lac.
Benificiary family Ratna Purusha and her daughter expressed their sincere gratitude to Tulu Koota Kuwait and Humanity Trust for providing them basic necessity of living with such a big heart.
During the house inauguration, Fr Mark Walder and local panchayat leaders were present. The work of Tulu Koota Kuwait was appreciated by all the people present at both housewarming ceremonies.
Tulu Koota Kuwait wholeheartedly thanked all the donors, Humanity Trust Belman, wellwishers and its TKK members for supporting this project and making it successful, giving new hope of living to two needy families.
