What about the parking on the footpath opposite, the central Library at the St. Aloysius college road. During the day time students park their two wheelers and four wheelers. In the evenings the customers to the few shops use the footpath to park the vehicles. When motorists park on the footpath henceforth obstructing pedestrians to use the footpath. Last week I had called the phone in program but no improvement.

Vehicles coming on wrong direction cause vehicles going in proper direction to swerve and cause accidents while the culprits go free driving on the wrong side.
Have never seen police taking action against them

    wonderful!
we have a great police team.
Way to go to maintain the Unruly and rowdy Traffic offenders causing Harm to the public..discipline. causing severe danger to pedestrians and to the public.
Only way is to Fine with imprisonment..
to maintain Law and order and absolute discipline: on streets.highways..Bi lanes too.
    Instal Parking meters....
let municipality build parking buildings for convenience...
Even Garbage Litters.. .. Spitting.. urinating..defecating etc should all be
    Penalized .
    throwing papers..etc.
Let the city be clean.. and smart.
    for peaceful commuting.

The steps taken are good but the common sense to many drivers is missing. Busses don't use bus bay instead pick up passengers on the middle of the road. Wrong side driving is common. Overtaking is another issue. Basic driving discipline is missing big time. A penalty should be minimum Rs 10,000/-. 1000-2000 is nothing.

I think our Traffic police departments are not giving justice to vehicle owners. They must check that the parking place allotted to commercial complexes ,are converted into shops. Now where to Park the vehicles ??. Police must join hands along with our MCC and vacate all shops where the place marked for parking. First they must do that job by helping vehicles owners to park ,
