Mangalore: St Aloysius College Bags Lion's Share in CET Ranks

Mangalore, May 27: The city-based St Aloysius College has hogged limelight again this year, as several of its students have secured high ranks in the engineering, medical and Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISMH) ranks, announced by Karnataka Examination Authority recently. The college has claimed stake to a sizeable portion of the top performers, with the following students of the college having excelled in the combined entrance test – 2009. They have made the college proud, by standing tall at the state-level test, withering competition put forth by students from hundreds of reputed educational institutions from all over the state.
Anish Bhat P of the college has secured the first rank both in medical and ISMH categories. In engineering too, he is one of the toppers, having got the 18th rank.

Samyukta B Rai, another student of the college, succeeded in getting 14th rank in engineering. Madhumitha V Herady is also one of the brilliant students, who has excelled in the CET, having achieved 77th rank in engineering and 42nd in ISMH.
Siddartha B Rai of the college has ben placed 85th in engineering category. Rohith has succeeded in getting the 147th rank in engineering. Shruti Bhat is the other student to have shone at the state level, having secured 199th rank under engineering, 119th under medical and 42nd under ISMH. Likewise, Akshatha S has succeeded in getting 167th and 101st ranks in medical and ISMH respectively.
Sanal Canute Fernndes of the college has secured 9th rank in medical, 11th in ISMH and 301st in engineering category. Sandeep Pai H is placed sixth in the state under engineering category. 80th rank under engineering category has been bagged by Shashank Uppoor of the college.
The fifth rank under architecture has been secured by Sumika Pai, a student of the college.
