Kuwait, May 30: Tulu Koota - Kuwait, for the 9th year in succession, organized "Rasamanjari 2009" on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 4.30 pm in the Masrah Hawalli Hall- Kuwait. This time Tulukoota Kuwait geared up with its musical fiesta featuring renowned singers Srikanth Kamath, Anitha Samson, Kalavathi, Dhananjaya Varma and Prakash Mahadevan.
This was the Tulu Koota`s first mega event of 2009 which was held under the presidentship of A. K. Ravindra. Tulu Koota successfully attracts larger and larger audiences year after year through their top-quality programs every year. The music-lovers enjoyed the every moment of the program.
The program started with traditional lighting of lamp by President A. K. Ravindra, Vice President Swarna Shetty General secretary Sathyanarayana and other members of Managing committee. Welcome dance and prayer song were performed after the president A.K.Ravindra.
The evening was filled with superb soul stirring music, songs, style and performances by visiting artistes to the tune of music maestro Adrian Gomes. Srikanth Kamath, Anitha Samson, Kalavathi, Dhananjaya Varma and Prakash Mahadevan rocked the stage with choicest selection of energetic Kannada, Tulu, Hindi, Konkani and Byaari music and dance tunes.
Dance by Jovas Xllence, Outlaws, Shalini & Team were mind blowing. Lucy Aranha, Agnello & Party entertained the audience by their rib tickling jokes. Along with Kuwait’s famous Adrian Gomes, Dholak- Tumba- Tabla by Munawar Khan, SPD, Rhythm drum by Jabbar, Rhythm Guitar by Sathish abd base Guitar by Denis gave a perfect combination to the voice of singers.
During the program, visiting artistes and sponsors were honored by flower bouquets and mementos. General secretary Sathyanarayana delivered vote of thanks.
The program was well compered by Srikanth Kamath, Prakash Mahadevan and Shobha Bhandari. and announcements were done by Agnel Saldanha, Vichitha Chinmaya and Tharendra Shettigar.
The well arranged program came to an end with Baila which was not in schedule and performed looking at the spirit of the crowd.
