Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jul 16: Karnataka chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, alleged that the BJP was making an effort to help veteran Congress leader, MLA and former minister Roshan Baig, who has been mired in infamous IMA scandal. He said that the BJP was trying to help the MLA to escape to a safe place.

Baig was taken into custody by the special investigation team probing the above fraud, from the international airport here. The chief minister said that Baig was to fly by a chartered plane, and Yeddyurappa's personal assistant, Santosh, and former BJP MLA, C P Yogeshwar, were with Baig at the airport. He said in a tweet that he learnt that Santosh ran away at the sight of the investigation team officials. He also alleged with the support of a document that Santosh was to fly with Baig by the chartered flight. He said this indicates BJP's involvement with efforts to cause the state government to dislodge.

On its part, the BJP said that the CM was utilizing the services of the state machinery to save the government. It pointed out that as per the notice, Roshan Baig had time till July 19 to appear before the investigation team. The BJP in a tweet, also accused the state government of bringing undue pressure on its own legislator unnecessarily, duly substantiating its claim by enclosing a copy of the SIT notice.

Totally agree with CM statement. But in this IMA case not only Roshan Baig was involved. There are many other politicians name also connected. Then who are helping to the remaining politicians? why there is no enquiry of other politicians? Even Zameer Ahmed name also mentioned in this case, why there is no enquiry? who helping them. considering all these facts can we ignore CM's statement as political one.

It's always pattern of congress to send investigation team against leaders if any one not oblige with there term. They even use same power against mulayam singh...mayawati...laloo..karunanidhi and many more. By using jayalalitha at last moment they succeded to over throw bjp government led by Shri Vajpayeeji. He resigned immediately. Now they apply same with roshan baig.

Isn't that the reason why this seasoned crook has evinced interest in joining the BJP. He knows pretty well that the BJP is going to gain power and once he joins that party, he is safe and sound and nobody can touch him. Hence this sudden talk about principles, morality and so on. It is a pity such people are in politics and looting the state. This has been going on for several years and he is enjoying the loaves and fishes of office. However, the greatest pity is that people are electing such crooks. As long as the people don't mend their ways, such people will come to politics and loot the state and the country.
