Mandya, Jul 19: MP Shobha Karandlaje offered special pooja praying for state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa to become the Chief Minister (CM) of the state again.

MP Shobha arrived at the Maddhuramma Shrine that is at Maddur town of the district on the morning of Friday, July 19, and offered special pooja to Goddess Maddhuramma Devi asking for her blessing in making B S Yeddyurappa as the CM of the state again. Shobha prayed for the defeat of the coalition government in the confidence motion so that BJP comes to power in the state.

Before arriving at Maddur, Shobha had visited Chamundeshwari temple and prayed for BJP to assume power in the state. Speaking to the reporters, Shobha said, "So far I had never demanded anything from the Goddess Mother. But there is anti-people and anti-legislator government in the state."

Meanwhile, B S Yeddyurappa, state BJP chief is sporting a new look wearing Rudrakshi on his hand as well as around his neck. In addition, he had also tied the sacred threads that are given in temples around his wrist. He has also sported a black dot on his scalp.
