Mangaluru: Police commissioner grills habitual drug dealers in parade

Mangaluru, Jul 22: Police Commissioner of the city Sandeep Patil, who has taken a vow to clear the city of drug peddlers, who are hell bent on spoiling the younger generation of the city, took a parade of the old and accused drug dealers and issued them stern warning.

The parade consisted of 94 old and accused drug peddlers of the city. The police commissioner warned the group that the police department is ready to wipe the drug peddling business from the city. He warned them to stay clear of any activity that will spoil the health of the society.

The police commissioner also asked the concerned police officers to keep a track of the recent activities of the old accused drug dealers.

    See our system of working ! police grills the habitual drug dealers that means they are already knows and gotten the license indirectly. this was happening due to PUTTUR infamous video ! However if it is in PHILIPPINES these maniacs would have encountered and erased from earth !

    You cant preach them theory of philosophy and they wont understand it ! they need money and for that they are ready to do anything to anything ! even they knew the loopholes of mighty law and our lawyers very happy to serve them including our politicians.

Alcohol, Drugs, Prostitution, Gambling, are age old vices..... todays world, cell phone, has become a new scourge in society..... No body can force a human to fall prey to these temptations, it is only your free will, to be or not to be tempted, 4719 to these destructive vices .....

    Drugs used to flow in side Mangalore Jail at Jail Road. Has the commissioner stopped that flow. This flow of Drugs into jail is because of corrupted jail officers. If they have stopped it then should stop the flow of drugs into mangalore.

    I feel the police commissioner is doing the right thing by grilling the habitual drug dealers. The problem lies not with students or PG owners the problem lies within the system. The drug dealers get caught and they get easy bail and start their nonsense again. Time for the police department to rein in the drug dealers and to plug all entry.

    So Alcohol Use And Abuse Is Allowed. Drugs Not Allowed. Alcohol Has Destroyed Families, Youths, Generations and Nations. Why Nobody Cares To Talk About That, Why Only Drugs.

    This double standard is not going to help. Marijuana is considered as legal and cure to many illness and Western countries are doing lots of research on it. Even some well known and far advanced countries has legalised it.
    Alcohol is harmful and dangerous to the Nation!.

    Over Abuse of anything is harmful. E.g - Food.

    In UAE Pork and liquor is available easily. Even Beef too. The govt clearly say "NOT FOR MUSLIMS" for pork and liquor. Can the Govt ensure that college going students upto 25 are not allowed to buy any liquor from wine shops. Can the govt see that all wine shops don't sell liquor to students stating "Not FOR STUDENTS BELOW 25". It will apply for both boys and girls. Mangalore Wine shops are like Duty free shops.

    I absolutely agree with him. Alcohol and tobacco are more harmful to humans than Cannabis(Ganja). Many studies worldwide have proved that alcohol and tobacco can cause fatal diseases while there isn't a single study that says Cannabis is as harmful as alcohol or tobacco.

    I think the best way to handle and bring control on this by giving seminar from class XIII to know what it does.

    Easy way to control this is I repeatedly mention many times that from each class random few students and get their Blood test . Automatically then students with fear and stop this bad habit because their parents as well as school administration will come know if they take drugs. This practice must be in all educational institutions.

    WE APPRECIATE OUR COMMISSIONER AND HIS TEAM ACTION TOWARDS DRUGS. DAILY RAIDS AND HAS ARRESTED DRUGS/ GANJA SELLER. EVERY ONE HAS TO HELP POLICE DEPT. TO BECOME MANGALORE IS SAFE FOR STUDENTS. OUTSIDER SAYS " MANGALORE IS DRUGS CITY" WE HAVE TO COME OUT FROM BAD IMAGE.

    I am grateful to the Police Commissioner Patil for making a commitment to rid the city of the drug menace.

    The drugs have destroyed Punjab. And many areas of cities all over India.

    Once the young people get habituated with drugs, they will not be free of the demon.

    And many others will suffer as a consequence.
