Mangaluru, Jul 26: Three people, inmates of a house, assaulted the staff of Kulshekhar MESCOM, who had come to place the electricity fuse back to the main board after the said people had paid the bill.
This incident is reported from Naguri under Kankanady police station limits. Basavaraj (45) is the staff of MESCOM, who was attacked by the inmates of the house.
The MESCOM personnel had removed the fuse of a house in Naguri in the city on the morning of Thursday, July 25 as they did not pay the bill. Later, the owner of the house went to the MESCOM office and paid the pending bill.
The lineman Basavaraj, came to the said house at 3 pm in order to put the fuse back onto the main panel board. The accused allegedly abused Basavaraj and also assaulted him without any provocation.
A case in this regard is registered at Kankanady city police station.
