Dubai, Jul 29: Yaana, the Kannada movie that has stolen the hearts of cine goers of the state, will be released in Dubai on August 2. This movie is produced under the banner of ACME Movies International by renowned entrepreneurs Harish Sherigar and Sharmila Sherigar in association with Vijayalaxmi Singh of 'I Entertainment'.
The screenplay and direction of ‘Yaana’ was done by Vijayalaxmi Singh and is running in more than 100 theatres across the state from July 12, the date of its release in Karnataka.
Vaibhavi, Vainidhi and Vaisiri, three daughters of yesteryear actor couple Jai Jagadeesh and Vijayalaxmi Singh, have made their debut in Sandalwood through this movie and their maiden movie seems to be a huge success. The three sisters in lead roles are accompanied by Sumuka, Chakravarthy and Abhishek as male leads.
This movie will be released at 4 pm on August 2 at the Galleria Cinema Hall in Hyatt Regency Hotel of the city. Anant Nag, Suhasini, Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna, Rangayana Raghu and Ravishankar are the other actors in the cast.
The movie is lauded throughout the state by Sandalwood fans. Kannada and English media of the state have praised 'Yaana' movie as one not to be missed. Almost all the newspapers and visual media have heaped praise on the movie.
The media has said that in recent times in the Kannada film industry, movies like Yaana have not been screened. The story of the movie itself is touching the hearts of people of all classes of the society. The media further says that the story, screenplay, dialogues, songs, music, cinematography, acting and characters of the movie have together played a huge role in making this movie a great success.
The media has especially lauded the music and background score by Sridhar Joshwa and cinematography of Karam Chawla.
This movie is about the life of the three girls. The incidents that take place in their lives are narrated in the movie. The film was shot in beautiful locations of Chitradurga, Davanagere, Mudigere, Goa and some parts of northern Karnataka.
The movie features seven songs. Yograj Bhat and Jayant Kaikini have penned the songs. The specialty of this move is that apart from the male and female leads, this movie has given opportunity to 40 new comers, including the technicians.
