Bengaluru: Byrathi Basavaraj holds top Congress leaders responsible for current situation

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jul 30: Disqualified Congress legislator from K R Puram constituency here, Byrathi Basavaraj, blamed mental torture inflicted on him by senior Congress leaders and their behaviour for the unenviable situation he finds himself in now.

Speaking to media persons with tears in his eyes on Monday July 29 after getting closeted with party leaders for some time, Basavaraj said that the Bengaluru in-charge minister did not show any concern for the development of the city and was lethargic about constituencies located in the city. He pointed out that during the 14 months he was the legislator for this constituency, he could not lay foundations tone to even a single work.

Byrathi said that he and his fellow legislators had resigned from their positions voluntarily as it was necessary in the interests of the development of their constituencies. "No decision as yet has been taken about joining the BJP. I will take further decision after holding discussions with the voters of my constituency," he stated.

Respected dissident,dismissed/disqualified MLA , just to please the people you are shedding tears now, and blaming your own party. It's better if you retire from politics, and pave the way for younger generation.

The Congress party in DK should gracefully accept their downfall. The current leadership should be sent packing home . Literally its 'game over' for Congress. A new young and able team should be recruited and immediately start working from the grass root level. There is only a little more than 3 years left. Now is the time to start with this strategy, rather than wait till the last minute and field an old aging previously booted out candidate and call him a 'Tiger' to garner votes. Come on!

Only Siddu and Rahul Gandhi knows what is the top secret behind this Rebellism. Soon after MP elections Siddu flown to Delhi and spent 3 days for meeting with RG. They wanted to wash their hands with JDS alliance but blame game on BJP!!!! It is more or less Open Secret. Siddu screwed the political career of these MLAs.

He is one of many such Pawns, who will slowly start speaking now. He must ask the King-Raulji who forced the unholy alliance on these Pawns for his Political Career survival, ditching Congress Party . Why Raul Ji is now silent and not visiting Karnataka?

Coalition with JDS was the biggest blunder for Congress for which they will never be forgiven. I can relate to Byrathis situation. These Congi candidates have served and worked hard in their constituencies for years . Moreover his team has day and night canvassed and eventually won the elections. But lo behold, he is sidelined and ignored and has to make way for a JDS candidate for ministership. All this to ensure the ever losing President Pappu's career is secure. And now Pappu is nowhere when the Govt falls. He has Wayanad to bank on. What about other Cong leaders, will they be given a ticket in Mallapurram , Kerala?
