Mumbai, Aug 2: City police filed an FIR against four unidentified suspects from the city for allegedly gang-raping a Jalna-based HIV positive woman, while she was staying with her brother in Mumbai.
As reported in TOI, Aurangabad police have registered a rape case against four unidentified suspects from Mumbai for allegedly gang-raping a Jalna-based HIV positive woman while she was staying with her brother in that city. The 19-year-old woman was recently admitted into the Government Medical College and Hospital due to some ailments, where doctors found that she had been raped, police said on Wednesday.
The victim in her statement to the cops, said that she was gang raped by four men when she had gone to attend her female friend's birthday party. As per police, the victim could not identify the suspects as she is seriously ill. Her father said he received a call from his son on July 14, informing that she was unwell. He brought her back and admitted her into a hospital here, where he learnt of the rape.
The Begumpura police said they registered a 'zero FIR' and transferred the case to the Chunabhatti police station in Mumbai after the rape survivor's father lodged a complaint late on Tuesday night.
