New Delhi, Aug 6: Drinking water is required to maintain good health and depends on physical activity level, age, health-related issues and environmental conditions.

In 1977, the United Nations Water Conference announced access to drinking water as a right, unfortunately post 1977, several places in the world do not have access to good drinking water.

The environmentalist of the world have constantly urged the need for conservation of water. With the reservoirs and other water bodies disappearing from the face of earth, conservation of water is imperative. This ideology was seen in an animal, more like a monkey, where it was seen conserving water. The video brought in applause to the primate's actions and has since gone viral.

The video shows a monkey drinking water from a tap. Although, this is not a major feat by itself, but the fact that the animal closes the faucet is drawing positive reactions from tweeple.

The 11-second clip originally posted on TikTok, was shared by former chief election commissioner Dr S Y Quraishi, who tweeted the video stating, "What a beautiful message for humans!"
