Beltangady, Aug 6: Landslides were cleared were cleared to facilitate the movement of vehicles on Tuesday, August 6.

Landslides on the seventh curve of Charmadi Ghat disrupted traffic for some time on Tuesday morning.

Two trees were also uprooted on the stretch.



The district administration got into action and cleared the landslide and fallen trees for smooth movement of traffic.

Beltangady, Aug 6: A huge tree got uprooted and fell across the road on the seventh curve of the Charmadi Ghat on Tuesday, August 6. As per latest reports, the ghat road was blocked at three places.

Traffic got blocked due to the falling of the tree across the road for more than two km. Motorists are having a tough time as they can neither move forward nor backward.

The motorists express rage at the administration for not visiting the spot even after one hour of the mishap that has occurred on Charmadi Ghat.

Many vehicles remained stranded, and even KSRTC services were affected.

    We appreciate very much efforts put by Nalin Kumar Kateelji to restore road for smooth inflow of vehicles. His effort to scrutinise landslide and reason behind of fall should be appaluded much.
