Panaji: Nagaland Youth Murdered, Police Suspect Nepali

Panaji, Jun 15: Goa Police have began a manhunt to nab a Nepali youth who has been missing after killing another man in the state’s capital city of Panaji.
 
“We found 22 stab injuries on the body of deceased Tushi Jamir, a young hailing from Nagaland and working in a city hotel,” Police Inspector Fransic Corte told reporters this evening.
 
20 year old Nepali youth Vikram Saba is suspected of killing Jamir over the long pending rivalry between them.
 
The incident occurred last night wherein deceased was found lying in a pool of blood on city’s well known 18th June Road at around 11.30 p.m.
 
The Police panchanama mentions that the deceased was stabbed with sharp weapon on his neck, forehead, cheek, arms and stomach.
 
Both – accused and deceased – were working in the same hotel and accused had left the job after rift with the deceased over some petty matter, police said.
