Bangalore: Mining Barons sink Differences: Make Public appearance with Chief Minister

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Jun 17: The Bellary mining barons, Reddy brothers and Sriramulu, succeeded in signalling that they have no more grouse against the Chief Minister, by publicly appearing with Chief Minister(CM) Yeddyurappa at a public function, for the first time after they started showing scorn towards the CM. The occasion was the 'Sadhana Samavesh' of the government held on Tuesday June 16 at Davangere.

Karunkar Reddy, Janardan Reddy and Sriramulu, who had hit the headlines after opting to stay out of the state-level programme organized on the occasion of its first anniversary by the state government at Bangalore, took part in the district level function at Davanagere. Energy minister Eshwarappa, who has been vocally critical of the CM, too took part in the function, giving an indication that the BJP has succeeded in bringing the warring factions together.

Reddy brothers, who had organized separate meetings of ministers and legislators loyal to them and reportedly were hatching a conspiracy to unseat the CM, had provided fodder to the rumour mills by staying away from important functions, cabinet meetings etc. It appears, the parleys held by the BJP central leadership have succeeded in dousing the flames of dissidence albeit temporarily.

Yeddyurappa, whose nerves were a little calmed down after the Reddy brothers chose to end their silent boycott, had to go fire-fighting on Tuesday, after learning that speaker Jagadish Shettar had become angry about not being invited for the ‘Vikasa Sankalp Utsav’ at Hubli. He rushed to the residence of Shettar after seeing that he had absented from the programme, and tried to sort out issues.

Even though Shettar was to preside over the Vikasa Sankalp Utsav held at the Nehru Maidan in Hubli, he had not come to the programme. The chief minister, who hurried through his part of the programme like delivering a speech and handing over facilities to the beneficiaries, rushed to Shettar's residence directly and held talks with him for about 25 minutes in the company of MP Anant Kumar. Speaking to reporters later, Yeddyurappa held the deputy commissioner and officials responsible for their failure to invite Shettar as per the set procedures.  Jagadish Shettar said he felt, his respect had been dented by the negligence of either the district in-charge minister or the officials to personally invite him to the programme. "I chose to stay away from the programme to ensure that such mistakes do not recur in future," he clarified.

Yedeyurappa doing very good job and it is very hard to digest for some people. Good attitude people think always positive.Winners don''t do different things. They do things Differently. Our attitude determines how we look at a setback. To a positive thinker, it can be a stepping stone to success. To a negative thinker, it can be a stumbling block. Congress has ruled India for 60 years. It would have been a developed country by now if they had ruled well with vision. People working in other countries now would have led a better life in India itself. I am really surprised to see people working in Gulf countries praising Congress although they are leading a second class citizen life there. God Bless them!!

It is tax payer money that is being used to show the unity of the BJP leaders. Instead, all of them can meet at the residence of Yeddy and show their unity......

Yeddi is like a fatigued boatman riding a boat with multiple holes. He is trying is best to plug each hole. When one hole is plugged another one opens. It will be interesting to see when he is overwhelmed by these multiple holes and how soon the boat sinks. While he is busy plugging holes the affairs of the state have taken a back seat.

I pity our CM, who is surviving with the mercy of Reddy brothers. He has to spend his five year term pleasing Reddy brothers, forcibly installed speaker Mr. Jadish Shettar, all operation lotus products, energy minister Mr. Eashwarappa and above all he must obey the orders of RSS.

If he succeeds in satisfying all of them the goons of Bajrang Dal, Rama Sene who worked hard during the election raise their head with some kind of mischief to show their existence which he has to deal with. This CM has to run house to house to satisfy everyone. We surely have a long puppet show for 5 years. In reality we are ruled by RSS which is not elected by the people of Karnataka.

Mr. Nagesh Nayak, now I can surely say that Yeddi is the weakest CM as he has not control over his folks, he is just balancing his sinking ship. As far as his vision, I think it is blurred now may be he has to change his hardcore hindutva LENS of his spectacle. Jai ho Nagesh mamu.

My sincere suggestions to Mr Yediyurappaji is that he induct Nagesh mamu into the cabinet. He is the most sincere and diehard supporter of the BJP & the RSS and deserves a top position in the government. Additionally he is well versed in state level and international issues and has solutions to offer on all problems both at the state and international level, as his comments over the past few months suggest. Dear Nagesh mamu, we the readers of Daiji world are willing to start a forum in your support to make this happen. Jai Ho Nagesh Mamu
