Mangaluru, Aug 15: Shakthi Group of Institutions at Shakthinagar celebrated Independence Day jointly.
K C Naik, managing trustee of Shree Gopalakrishna Temple spoke on the occasion after hoisting the National flag and gave a call to the students to render dedicated service to the nation.
Vidya Kamath G, principal of the school welcomed the gathering. Pradyuth, Manasa and Prabhakara G S, principal of the college addressed the gathering on the importance of the day.
Dr Muralidhar Naik, trustee of Shakthi Education Trust, Baikady Janardana Achar, administrator, Naseem Banu Institute Development officer, Ramesh K, chief advisor and Neema Saxena, co-ordinator of SGK Pre-school were present. Chethana compered the programme and Rishiq Moideen proposed the vote of thanks.
