Shillong, Aug 16: Twitter handles of police departments are getting wittier by the day. It is refreshing to see police officials use humour to express vital topics.

Twitter handles of Mumbai Police, Assam Police and Guwahati Police make tweeples guffaw. In one such instance, Assam Police tweeted about 590 kilogram of ganja where they asked anyone who had lost it to come forward and claim it. Now, Meghalaya Police has twitter in splits with their tweet on drug peddlers.

On Thursday, Meghalaya Police tweeted about Shillong drug peddlers who have ripped off people by selling Rasna powder instead of drugs. The tweet urged individuals who have been victims of the bad sale to come forward and report against the peddlers.

The image uploaded by the department included three small packets filled with orange powder. Tweeples have admired the department for their wit and creativity. One of the twitter users commented, 'Not only in Shillong, but if anybody got duped by this scam, call the cops for a Rasna Drink'.
