Mangaluru: Awareness against drugs held in P A College

Mangaluru, Aug 28: A programme to create awareness on adverse effects of drugs was held by P A Education trust, Nadupadav, National service planning unit and economic and narcotic substance crimes police station Mangaluru in the college auditorium recently.

Police officer Latha said that students should refrain from drug addiction and give more importance to their studies for a bright future. “Spoiling the health by the addiction is not good. They should not be victims of momentary pleasure and its adverse effects, “she said. She also answered questions from students.

Police officer Shivakumar, P A engineering college principal Dr Abdulla Sharif, educational director Dr Sarfraz J Hashim, MBA department director Dr Latha Krishnan, Dr Sharmila and Dr Mohammed Mubeen were present.

Students of engineering, polytechnic, pharmacy, MBA and first grade college who are under the control of P A education trust took part.

Engineering college vice principal Dr Rameez M K gave an introductory address. Professor Shama Abbas compered the programme. P A Pharmacy college principal Dr Saleemulla Khan rendered vote of thanks.
