Kaup, Sep 1: A young man was the support on whom his parents, who are past their middle age and his younger brother who is studying in school, were dependent on. However, his life ended on a fateful night. The approach road of the forest had ended his life in the darkness during an accident. However, now the parents of the deceased youth say that his death was not an accident but a planned murder.

Vinod, the deceased youth, a resident of Shirva under the taluk belonged to a poor family. He died two months ago. As their family was poor, Vinod had stopped studying and he was working as a driver in a tipper truck.

On the night of June 26, Vinod and his friends had a party at the Marina Bar at Manchakal. Then some argument ensued between the friends. Vinod had left the bar at around 11 pm to go home along with his friend Kumar. Vinod's body was found at a distance of half a kilometer from the house. A case was registered as accident. However, the parents of Vinod allege that he was murdered.

First Information Report (FIR) says that Vinod died due to skidding of his bike. It also says that the pillion Kumar also got scratch injuries on his body due to the fall from the bike. However, the family members of Vinod do not accept this explanation.

The family members are saying that in the CCTV footage in the vicinity it is observed that both Vinod and his friend Kumar were moving on the bike. No marks were visible on the spot of the accident. The bike was not damaged. There were no injuries of fall on the body of Vinod. The mobile phone record gives evidence of the verbal duel the friends had with Vinod. Moreover, the postmortem report of the body has not yet come. Vinod's mother Mallika says that they have not got justice even after visiting many offices including that of SP, ASP and Circle Inspector.

The family members are urging the police to call the friends who were with Vinod on the night of his death and inquire. “If Vinod had died of accident, let the same be mentioned in the postmortem report. If he was murdered, let the murderers get punished,” said his parents.

    There is some truth in parents saying.Why it is so long no postmartum report?It is always difficult for a poor person to get right .may his soul rest in peace and give justice to parents?
