Mysuru, Sep 4: Senior Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah was caught displaying violent behaviour when he slapped his aide outside Mysuru airport on Wednesday, September 4. The reason for the outburst is still unknown. Siddaramaiah was in Mysuru to stage protest following arrest of fellow Congress leader DK Shivakumar.

In the video, Siddaramaiah is surrounded by security personnel and suddenly losing his cool after which he slaps a person and roughly pushes him aside. The victim, identified as Ballari Corporation Commissioner PG Ramesh, claimed that it was not him.

In the past, Siddaramaiah had forcibly pushed a woman party leader after being annoyed with her complaints against few revenue officials.

In the year 2016, Siddaramaiah was criticized for slapping a bureaucrat in Ballari. However, Siddaramaiah had discarded news stating it as 'false propaganda' against him by the media.
