Abu Dhabi Billawas' 15th Anniversary - Charity Show in Mangalore

Abu Dhabi / Mangalore, Jul 6: Coming out of the shackles of hosting events and shows in resident countries, Billawas from Abu Dhabi take lead in hosting the famous Bale Cha Parka team -  Devdas Kapikad’s “Moneg Takka Paterodchi” drama at Town Hall in Mangalore. The drama is scheduled for 25th July 2009.

The funds raised from the drama will be provided as scholarship to deserving poor students in Mangalore and Udupi.

This event is part of Billawara Balaga Abu dhabi’s 15th anniversary celebration. Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi founded in 1994 was the first Billawa group outside of India by the Billawa NRI residents of Abu Dhabi. Committed to work for the welfare of Billawas and promotion of social and cultural values, Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi has now completed 15 years of success with love and respect.

Speaking to daijiworld, Convenor of Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi Manohar Tonse said that by hosting Devadas Kapikads’ drama to raise funds the revenue is guaranteed and also donations are expected and all the money will be given out as scholarship. He also said that this will inspire many others to follow suit and raise funds for social cause.

For the Occasion well-known educationist Sadhu Poojary, Committee member of Billawara Mahamandala U Narayan, noted Tulu writer Bannanje Babu Amin, Journalist/playwright Paramanand Salian and RajKumar, President of Gulf Billawa Sangha would be the guests.
