Mangaluru, Sep 13: Students of Vikaas PU College outclassed competitors in Kabaddi and Wrestling tournaments.
Both Boys and Girls Vikaas Kabaddi teams won first place in Mangaluru City Taluk level Kabaddi tournament for Pre-University college students jointly organized by Pre-University Education Board, Dakshina Kannada, and Ramashrama Pre-University College, Konchadi, in Ramashrama PU College on September 11.
George Philip, Shankar, Ganesh, Sachin, Sreekanth, Lava, Kusha, Sujay, Mokshith, Sunil Bista, Swasthik, and Koushik N K form the boys’ team and Sinchana L Shetty, Sneha, Nischitha, Hithashri, and Rachana formed the girls’ team.
The college also secured first place in 65 Kg Boys category and 60 Kg Belt Wrestling category and second places in six categories in DK level Intercollegiate Wrestling Tournament jointly organized by Pre-University Education Board, Dakshina Kannada, and St Aloysius Pre-University College, Mangaluru, at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, on September 9.
The management, principal and staff congratulated the winners on their achievement.
