UAE: Emirates Paradela Announces 'Sunil D'Mello Memorial Cricket'

Abu Dhabi , Jul 13: Emirates Paradela – one of UAE’s well known socio-cultural group today announced their forthcoming prestigious “Sunil D’Mello Memorial Cricket Tournament – 2009”, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on Friday, 13 November 2009 .

Speaking to Daijiworld, the spokesperson for Emirates Paradela revealed that the rules, timing and venue for this prominent tournament  will be announced shortly.  The winners of this prestigious tournament will walk away with a rolling shield and other attractive trophies.

It can be remembered that the last tournament  held at “Insportz” – Dubai on 18th January 2008, which attracted several teams from around UAE and was a runaway success.  The winners of the last tournament were “Hawk” team of Dubai.


Late Sunil D'Mello

This tournament is held every year in remembrance of Sunil D’Mello, one of Emirates Paradela’s enthusiastic member, a  brilliant cricketer himself who passed away suddenly a couple of years back.
