Mangaluru: Personality Development Programme held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Sep 24: On September 18, departments of Commerce and Sciences organized Personality Development Program for the final year BSc. FND and BSc. HS students in the auditorium.

The programme began with a prayer song. Patcy Lobo, vice president of Catholic Association of South Kanara(CASK) welcomed and introduced the chief guest Nayana Fernandes, president of Catholic Association of South Kanara(CASK) to the gathering.

Addressing the gathering Nayana Fernandes said that CASK is a vibrant organization for the welfare of poor and marginalized irrespective of caste and creed. They have conducted personality development for nearly 4,000 students and 300 faculties.



Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal, addressed the gathering and appreciated the work of CASK.

Later, Patcy Lobo began the session and conducted an activity in which students were asked to fill all the qualities that they see in themselves and noticed by others. Another guest speaker Derick Lobo shared his personal experience and briefed about seven soft skills that are essential for success in life and said that the goal of education is to become men and women for others.

Following Lobo’s address, Patcy Lobo conducted activities which taught them how to be self-confident. Another guest speaker Melora Pais, lecturer at Shree Devi College spoke about etiquettes.

At the end of the program certificates were distributed to all the students.

Merlin of III BSc. HS proposed the vote of thanks.
