‘Jaylaxmi Co-op Credit Society Focusing on Youth’

The ninth annual general body meeting of the Jaylaxmi Co-operative Credit Society, sponsored by metro-based Okkaliga Samaj, was held on Sunday July 19 at Goenkawadi auditorium, J B Nagar, Andheri (East), here.
 
The meeting was presided over by Society chairman Narayan R Gowda and a woman director inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp on the occasion.
 
The board of directors consisting of Nagesh N Patel, Chandan C Chari, Anusuya R Gowda, Devaki N Gowda, Sunanda R Gowda, Meenakshi N Patel and D Mutte S Gowda, were present.
 


Entrepreneur Anand Bore Gowda was the chief guest, while Chikke Gowda Sarangi, and Congress leader Chandra Shetty were the guests of honour.
 
Society chairman Narayan Gowda, in his presidential address said, “The Society has been striving to make community youth successful future entrepreneurs.  It has succeeded in this mission thereby empowing them to lead better lives.”
 
Narayan Gowda also felicitated newly-elected directors A Kempe Gowda, Mutte S Gowda, and veteran couple Lata Dhanaraj Gowda and Shilpa Santosh Mandavkar on the same occasion. 
 
K Raje Gowda welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.  Society secretary Rangappa C Gowda proposed the vote of thanks.
