Mumbai, Aug 4:
The annual general body meeting of the metro-based Sri Shanteri Mahalasa Narayani Welfare Trust, was held on Sunday August 2 morning, at Sri Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Mutt Dwarakanat auditorium, Wadala, here, after Satyanarayan Puja. 
 
Hinduja Hospital medical officer Dr Bhujanga Pai was the chief guest.  Speaking at the occasion, Dr Pai said that community worship promotes brotherhood and harmony and righteousness results in social well-being.
 

 

Trust president Vishnu R Pai in his welcome address, said that Satyanarayan puja is a Vedic rite that leads to spiritual bliss among the devotees.  It is an attempt by the Trust to promote divinity in society, he explained.
 
Sangeeta B Pai of Vadala Sri Rama Mandir and Gokarna Mutt president Vaman R Kamath were the guests of honour.
 
Wadala GSB Ganeshotsav Samiti trustee and secretary Kamalaksha G Saraf, Konkani Kala Triveni organization chairman Ullas Kamat were specially invited to be present as guests on the occasion. 
 
Trust honorary chief secretary A D Bhat, former chairman V N Navrekar, Sion GSB Seva Mandal president Dileep Pai, Anant Pai Dombivli, Kota Prakash G Pai and others felicitated the sponsors of the puja, R V Shanbagh, Vishwanat Pai, Narayan Shanbagh, Madanlal Agarwal couple and Rajaram Navrekar, on this occasion. 
 
Padmanabha Pai Bhajans group conducted a programme of chanting of Bhajans.  Dr Venkatesh G Pai proposed vote of thanks.  Dr Prabhakar Shenoy compered the programme.

    Sathyanarayana puja is really domestic, not only for induvidual but for all. it blessed me as well as my family and even my nighbours. thanks to Shri. Sathyanarayana.
