Margao, Aug 6: The programme officer of the National Leprosy Eradication Programme has planned to organize specialized skin care camps in five high risk areas of Goa state, to detect cases of Hansens that have remained undetected. The camps will be held in collaboration with the local-private dermatologists for the benefit of people.
The camp will be held at Chimbel (PHC-Betki) Indiranagar,Julaghar on August 12, 2009, at (PHC-Corlim) Nagali, Near Government Primary School, Taleigao on August 12, 2009, at Ponda (CHC-Ponda), Haveli Kurti on August 14, 2009, at UHC-Margao, Housing Board Colony, Gogol, Margao on September 9, 2009 and at UHC Gandhinagar, Vasco on September 15, 2009.
The timings of such camps will be from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
