Mangalore, Aug 7: The all-encompassing racket of counterfeiting has spread everywhere, not even sparing the education field. Hence, Mangalore Institute of Fire and Safety Engineering, has come up with a permanent and reliable remedy to this problem, by issuing tamper proof  certificate,  said  Ando paul, chairman of the institute, on Thursday, August 6.

Speaking at a press meet at press club, he said, it is well known, that the counterfeiting of the certificates is being routed through a racket based in north India, as a result of which, the very quality of education has been undermined. To solve  this problem, MIFSE has introduced a revolutionary  method, he said.

The certificate from the institute will be equipped with a hologram and a serial number with the website address of the institution. From this serial number, any one can check out the serial number and find out as to whether the person who possesses the certificate is really a genuine student or not, he described.

The certificate, the size of which would be similar to the ATM card, will have all the certificate details and contains everything about an individual and certificates. This tamper-proof card has the capability of storing data at least for 50 years, he added.

Vinod John, managing director of MIFSE and T K Sathishan, principal, were present at the press meet.

Apart from providing web keys for verification, have you provided any visual security to naked eyes so that one can verify the authenicity of the certificate just by seeing the certificate? Have you incorporated any security features like water marking or anything equivalent to this feature?
